JOIN OUR TEAM

The Bruin Initiative is always looking for new volunteers!

In addition to providing invaluable help to several Los Angeles high-school students, Bruin Initiative tutors gain strong teaching experience and create truly strong bonds (and possibly gain new roommates) along the way!

Volunteers are expected to attend our weekly general meetings (generally one-hour) on Tuesdays to discuss and prepare to meet the needs of the community we serve.

Most volunteers teach in 2-3 Saturday workshops each month, and each class (including set-up and tear down) lasts around 3-4 hours.

Volunteers are also highly encouraged to join us in numerous Bruin Initiative socials held throughout the year!

For more information, please email us at bruininitiative@gmail.com.
