Mentorship

Get paired up with a current UCLA undergraduate student to discuss all things college!

Bruin Initiative is offering our mentorship program to all high school students, regardless of whether or not they have participated in one of our past programs. In our experience, we find that high school juniors and seniors benefit the most from this program!

The Bruin Initiative Mentorship Program allows high school students to be paired with a current UCLA undergraduate mentor and allows students to ask for advice on AP courses and college applications, discuss life in high school and college, and talk about common interests and passions. The goal of the mentorship program is to build a meaningful friendship through a mentor/mentee program and bond through shared interests!

Mentees will be contacted through email after being paired up and meet with their mentors on Zoom every other week.

Our mentorship program begins on January 24th! In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact our mentorship director, Kayla Teng: kaylateng2002@g.ucla.edu or at our general email: bruininitiative@gmail.com.
